She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She obtained her medical degree at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO, and completed her Family Practice residency at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO. She also serves as the Director of Student Medical Education (DSME) for A.T. Still University’s Kirksville campus, where she teaches first and second year medical students and oversees third and fourth year students that stay in Kirksville. Dr. Ciesemier speaks both English and Spanish fluently. Her areas of interest include Women’s Health, Obesity Medicine, Allergy and Asthma, Diabetes, and among other chronic conditions. She also works at Kirksville Allergy and Asthma, along with her husband, Dr. Lawrence Ciesemier. Dr. Ciesemier is invested in the well being of her patients. “Taking care of patients is more than just giving medication, it’s encouraging how to live a healthier life mentally, spiritually, and physically.” In her spare time, Dr. Ciesemier likes to run, read, cook, and spend time with friends and family.
